The Adventures of Gilligan's Island NES – 34:07 [Former World Record]

One semi-major mistake in episode 3 going the wrong way and the game was brutal with no health drops in episode 4, but I magically made it work. Game was generous with ropes which probably made up for the one wrong route.
When I ran this, I was trying to beat authorblues time of 36:05. This was my first full run completion (had many heartbreaking glitches on other runs). I celebrated my new record and then found out that darbian also had a run that wasn’t on speedrun.com that was 34:09, so I just barely edged his time. What are the odds? I might have never even tried running it had I know he had that time. Got lucky with this one.
